Travel is Hard (let me make it easier for you!)

Planning a trip can be an overwhelming experience, particularly if you are leaving the country. Flights, tours, reservations, different languages and currency, what to pack, where to stay – it is so much to think about that I can understand why some people, despite reallly wanting to visit a foreign country or take a bucket list trip, just never follow through.

Where do you even start? How do you know if a hotel is actually a nice hotel or just looks good in the website photos?

I started this blog/newsletter to solve that very problem. I love helping people and I love the joy that comes along with travel. What I treasure most is the bonding that goes hand in hand in taking trips with people you love.

In my family, our favorite conversations start with “remember when” – followed by all of our favorite memories of trips we’ve taken.

There’s nothing worse than making the investment in a vacation, taking the time off work, coordinating everyone’s schedules, etc. and it ends up being a disappointment.

I love to put together meaningful trips and experiences, and I am sharing a few of my favorite guides and destinations here to inspire you to book the trip and make the effort. With the right amount of research and planning, you won’t regret it and will be talking about your experience for years to come. My guides are all based on trips I have taken and lessons I learned along the way to share with fellow travelers.
