In honor of the recent news that travel restrictions to the country of Croatia have been lifted, below are a few images from the most stunning hotel I’ve ever visited, Hotel Villa Dubrovnik.
I traveled here with a group of friends a few years ago and while I generally remember walking through the town, admiring the architecture, touring beautiful churches, learning about the history, going out to dinner, and shopping in the markets, two main things stand out about that trip:
One, swimming in the cold, salty, blue Adriatic Sea; and
Two, this hotel: Hotel Villa Dubrovnik.
When reminiscing with my friends about that trip all these years later, the conversation always returns to this hotel.
From the stunning entrance to the gorgeous views to the sunbathing area perched on the sea, the memories of our stay there are still so vivid in my mind.
